Snowshoe -  At the Base of the Mountain:  You’ll find a convenient mart, gas station, gift shop, bakery, ski and snowboard stores with rentals and sales, a bank, ATM machine, Subway, and a snack shop.  The restaurants at Snowshoe have full ABC licenses, but you can not buy wine or liquor by the bottle in Snowshoe.  Elk River Snowboard and Ski www.ridesnowshoe.com has a discount rental location on Rt. 219, just a mile south of Snowshoe.

Snowshoe - On the Mountain:  You’ll find a selection of restaurants, snack bars, pizza and a small grocery/deli.  We recommend The Foxfire Grill www.foxfiregrill.com in the heart of Snowshoe Village noted for Views, Blues and Barbeque.  Elk River Snowboard and Ski  www.ridesnowshoe.com has another rental location in Soaring Eagle Lodge atop the mountain.  Snowshoe Village hosts a number of interesting shops and apparel stores.  Free shuttle service runs early until late from every area of the mountain-top including Silver Creek.
